- Hi,
-
- I'm in the process of moving back to the States. I have an A2500, A2000 and
- an A600 and wanted to know what I need to do to convert them from German to
- US "compatible" versions.
-
- Someone told me that with the 2x00s it would not be that much of a problem
- because there is a switch to change from 240 to 120. The switch must be in-
- side the power supply somewhere because I didn't see it when I took a short
- look at it the other day. Can someone confirm that there is a switch?
-
- I assume that the A600 could be changed also by just getting an A600 power
- supply (since it is external).
-
- The monitors are where I see the main problem. I am guessing that the easi-
- est way to do this would be to get a flicker fixer (currently I am just using
- a normal Commodore 1084s without a flicker fixer) and go to something like a
- multi-sync monitor. Does that sound viable? Although I have no idea what I'll
- do with my PAL 1084...
-
- Sorry, but I'm a software person, and only injure myself when I work on
- the hardware :-)
-
- Thanks,
-
- Rob
